Cesar Fajardo
PT, DPT, OCS

Cesar has been a familiar face at CPRx for several years now.  He hails from Honolulu, Hawaii where he was born and raised.  He received his kinesiology degree from the University of Southern California before being accepted to Washington University in St. Louis, one of the best physical therapy programs in the country.  He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2004, under the mentorship of many of the world-renowned physical therapists at Washington University.  During his time there, he was an active volunteer at the Program in Physical Therapy for an exercise class designed especially for the obese population called On The Move.  He continues to be a strong advocate for health promotion and fitness in the community.
 
Though Cesar enjoys being humorous, he is a serious learner and always seeking opportunities for new knowledge.  In 2006, he completed a one-year long Orthopedic Manual Therapy course and successfully passed the specialty examination in 2007 to become a board certified orthopedic specialist in physical therapy (OCS).  He pursued his interest in sports by becoming a Fellow at the Sports Medicine / Physical Therapy program at Kaiser Permanente in 2008.  This was a vigorous 1-year fellowship, where he received 1-on-1 clinical mentoring and intensive course-work, while volunteering at high school athletic events.  He continues to volunteer in the community with physical therapy/health related activities and screens local athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. In addition, in 2009, Cesar participated in a 2-week medical mission to the Philippines. He joined a health care team of physicians, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists, to give free medical care to the underserved communities. His current projects are in running programs/clinics, health promotion/prevention, and obesity management.  
 
When he is not spending time with family and friends, Cesar enjoys exercising, and performing outdoor activities.  He loves playing basketball, running, and swimming.  He sets an excellent example of a healthy lifestyle and correct mechanics for his patients.  Cesar is a specialized physical therapist in sports/orthopedics with a wealth of knowledge and experience, who delivers compassion and evidence based quality care to help patients move to a better life.
