Oanh was born in New York and shortly thereafter her family made there way to Oregon. In high school, Oanh was on the track team where she competed in the 400m and 800m events. After high school, she attended Oregon State University and graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an option in allied health. She then was accepted to physical therapy school at Pacific University in Oregon graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010.
During the next 3 years she utilized her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics and applied it to her five clinical rotations. Her clinical experiences include Out Patient Neurological Care at Oregon Health Science University, Out Patient Orthopedics at Therapeutic Associates and at Providence Physical Therapy, long term acute care and in-patient neurological care at Northern California Rehabilitation Hospital, and acute care (including cardiac, oncology, and critical care patients) at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital. Oanh is also very active in continuing education and peer reviews as she has given lectures on chronic pain, differential diagnosis for lymphedema, and instructions in group exercises for patients newly diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus.
Oanh recently moved to Southern California in September of 2010 and began her first fulltime job here at CPRx, Inc where she can pursue her passion of treating orthopedic and sports related injuries. Oanh strives to provide quality patient care based on fundamental knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology and current research/evidence, alongside the excellent team of physical therapists and trainers at CPRx, Her desire to learn, strong work ethic, and emphasis on providing excellent customer services makes her an excellent addition to the CPRx family.
In her spare time, she enjoys running on her own, as well as, with her colleagues here at CPRx. She has participated in races at all levels including 5K’s, 10K’s, half marathons, and has completed a full marathon.
