I started at CPRx ( to rehabilitate a hamstring injury) in September 2012. The therapists and trainers did an amazing job! They taught me to be more aware of my body and various muscle groups in order to perform my exercises correctly. This resulted in not only rehabilitation of my hamstring but increased strength and flexibility all over, especially in my core. The AFT (Advanced Fitness Training) program helps me maintain those improvements and continue to build strength. I especially like that the trainers know what I went through and can tailor my workouts to challenge me. The Physical Therapists and trainers at CPRx feel like my own team of personal trainers and I am secure in knowing that they are committed to helping me stay healthy and fit. Thanks!

I have found the Physical Therapists at CPRx to be very knowledgeable professionals who effectively covey their knowledge into physical training exercises that their clients can understand. Their trainers are very personable and quickly put their clients at ease. Both the Physical Therapists and the trainers closely monitor their clients at work and intervene in a very reassuring manner when corrections are needed.I have been a client of CPRx for almost five years by enrolling in their very effective program (AFT- Advanced Fitness Training) that allows clients to continue to make use of their facilities under the supervision of their very capable trainers. Over the last 7 years I have needed 3 operations, 2 hip replacements and a shoulder repair.
After each surgery my doctor referred me to a local PT (not CPRx). With these PT’s my pain was increasing and strength was diminishing. I was very concerned about being able to return to my normal life style.

I came here for seven months ago with a severe knee injury post-op, wondering how I would get my life back. I have been racing big sailboats for 35 years and am not ready to quit yet. My initial visit to CPRx was fifteen years ago after a serious wrist injury where the Physical Therapist and team customized a personal recovery program for me.  Physical Therapy is work, but CPRx was professional and friendly and I soon realized improved wrist flexibility and strength.  Subsequently, I returned to CPRx for treatment of two other injuries.  It was important to avoid future injuries so I needed to focus on manitaining strength.  All the Physical Therapists: Jeremy, Maiko, and Cesar, who had helped me, had been friendly and helpful so I joined the on-going CPRx workout class program.  The workout classes are supervised by friendly trainers who supervise and customize the exercises and or weights according to the individual abilities for a maximum of five participants.  I’ve attended these classes for several years and appreciate the help from David and all the trainers.  This past year, my major emphasis was improved overall health and general strength.  I’m delighted that with consistent workout class participation and the loss of some weight, my most recent annual physical exam results were awesome!  My doctor was pleased with my improved overall health.  he commented that “exercise is the best, so keep it up…  It’s better than any medicine he could prescribe!”  Thanks to CPRx team for helping me get healthier!

Thanks for the inquiry. My knee is doing great now that the hip pain has subsided. The hip pain was too intense for me to finish up with the last couple of appointments that I had. I am back to my normal self. My experience with cprx was the best of all of my prior physical therapies and I have recommended your services to others. Keep up the good work and work ethics.
